The Final TopLaxRecruits New England Girls’ Rankings for 2016:
1. Darien (CT) 21-1-1 
The Blue Wave defeated Fairfield Warde, 12-5, for its fourth straight Large school state title and seventh in eight years.
2. Westwood (MA) 24-1
The Wolverines defeated North Andover, 13-7, to win the Division I state title.
3. Loomis-Chaffee (CT) 17-0
The Pelicans won the Founders League and Western New England championships.
4. New Canaan (CT) 19-4
The Rams defeated Joel Barlow, 7-4, for the Mid-sized state title.
5. Needham (MA) 20-3
The Rockets fell to Westwood, 12-7, in the South Division I final.
6. Notre Dame (MA) 19-4
The Cougars fell to Needham, 10-9, in overtime in the South Division 1 semifinals.
7. Moses Brown (RI) 16-1
The Quakers routed Barrington, 16-6, for the Division I state title.
8. Norwell (MA) 23-3
The Clippers toppled Walpole, 12-11, to win the Division II state title for the second straight year.
9. Longmeadow (MA) 19-4
The Central/West champion Lancers fell to Westwood, 12-6, in the in the state Division I semifinals.
10. Pinkerton (NH) 17-3
The Astros won the NH Division I state title with a 9-5 win over Bishop Guertin.
